Kevin Hogarth opened his first photographic studio in 1982 in Saskatoon. He has been at his current studio since 1989. Kevin enjoys the challenges and creativity of commercial photography, from national advertising campaigns to c.d. covers for local musicians.

Hogarth Photography has handled commercial clients such as: The National Film Board of Canada, Prince Albert National Park, Tourism Saskatoon, SIGA, MGM Communications, Great Western Brewing Co. Ft. Battleford National Historic Site, Grund Hair Products, The Marketing Den and Brown Communications to name a few. As well, Kevin has shot editorial work for national publications, Gardening Life, Flare, and Wish magazines.

Hogarth Photography has one of the largest studios in the city and state of the art equipment. He works with the Canon camera flagship EOS 1Ds Mark III. The camera produces large 14 bit/22 million pixel files. The camera comes with a wide assortment of lens. For lighting on location he has a mobile battery operated studio flash system that can run three 1600/watt heads without AC power. Kevin uses a Mac Ibook laptop for viewing and storing images on location.

Kevin has a strong working ability with Photoshop and recently purchased a new software program called HDR photography. The software combines over and under exposed images into one image to create a very dramatic look, this works great for sceneries.

Over the years Kevin has shot fashion, product, architecture, and editorial, but he is know to put people at ease and capture them in there enviroment.
